Getting My Clean, Clear Skin Back

Acne is the most common skin problem among adolescents. However, not only teenagers can become affected with this type of condition, as even adults can suffer from acne. Some will undergo a temporary and occasional phase while for some, pimples are more of a permanent problem.

The Acne Problem… and its Solution!

I used to be one of those people who suffered from adult acne and I used to be extremely devastated by it. I had cystic ones and they were not pretty. I have tried every acne-clearing product in the market to no avail until I found Kedma skincare’s Dead Sea Soap for Acne. It is a bar soap that is specially formulated for treating acne, as well as helping with clearing blemishes and dark spots.

The soap contains natural oils that can help moisturize the skin without turning it into an oil slick. I simply wash my face with it two to three times a day (whenever I feel like there is too much oil on my face, I wash it right away) every single day. I then proceed to dry my face and use an alcohol-free toner. Alcohol-free toners are better than those ones with alcohol as an ingredient, as this type of ingredient can dry the skin up too much or can even irritate overly sensitive skin.

The soap is amazing, as it was able to dry up almost all of my pimples in just a matter of one week! Sure, it wasn’t as flat as I wanted them to be right away, but it slowly cleared my skin and now I do not suffer from acne anymore. I still get them every once in a while, but not to the point wherein I am ashamed of going out of my house.

I also made sure to avoid over-exfoliating, as this can only irritate the skin further. I only exfoliate my skin once a week to get rid of those dead skin cells that built up during the whole week. I also make sure to use the right type of exfoliator for my skin type, as this can greatly affect the way my skin performs.

Another tip that I can share with you is that I make sure to change my face towel every now and then. It can easily harbor bacteria in there, so you would have to make sure to change it ever so often to avoid getting those pimples and blackheads. Sometimes, I also tend to use a tissue to wipe my face dry and clean. However, this is not that good for the environment, so I just make sure to change my towel at least every three days.

Lastly, practice using the right type of moisturizer and sunscreen on your face! These things will help keep your face properly hydrated and protected from the harmful rays of the sun.

Knowing what works for your skin is a huge help when it comes to preventing acne from covering your face. Ask your dermatologist about the things you can do to keep your skin properly moisturized and clean forever!
